*It is important that you sand between each layer of paint that you apply to the fabric. This will keep the fabric from being CRUNCHY. We don’t want crunch fabric!
- White Lightning Cleaner (for the wood surface only)
- BOSS (stain blocker) clear (for the wood surface only)
- Mermaid Tail (chalk mineral paint)
- Cotton (chalk mineral paint mixed with Mermaid Tail for highlighting)
- Bunker Hill Blue (chalk mineral paint)
- Driftwood (chalk mineral paint)
- Dixie Belle Paint Brushes
- Mist Spray Bottle for blending your paint
- Gilding Wax Warm Gold & Turquoise
- 220 Grit Sandpaper
- Tack Cloth (for removing dust from sanding the paint)
- Easy Peasy Spray Wax
- Soft Cotton Cloth (for buffing the wax) Old t-shirts work really well!
It’s important to understand that everyone’s finish will be different. No two finishes look the same. You are the artist! Be patient with yourself and go over each step of the video as you begin. I personally learn better from repetition and having a video to replay and review can be a very helpful tool.
