- White Lightning (cleaner before painting wood)
- Zinsser Shellac (clear) or BIN shellac-based primer (white)
- Chip Brush (for shellac application)
- Synthetic Paintbrush or Wooster Shortcut Paintbrush
- Spray Mist Water Bottle (use bottled water)
- Cotton chalk mineral paint
- Hurricane Gray chalk mineral paint
- Artist’s Brush
- Painters Tape (gentle release)
- Glass Scraper
- Tape Measure
- Pencil
- R.A.D. Pads (Surfprep sanding pads)
- Top Clear Coat (satin)
It’s important to understand that everyone’s finish will be different. No two finishes look the same. Be patient with yourself and go over each step of the video as you begin. I learn better from repetition and having a video to replay and review can be very helpful.
