Refinishing the top of the farmhouse table:
- Citri-Strip Orange Gel
- Plastic Wrap
- Disposable Chip Brush
- Plastic Scraper
- Odorless Mineral Spirits
- Steele Wool (superfine)
- Paper Towels
- Orbital Sander
- 220 Grit Sand Paper
- Walmart Car-wash Sponge
- Gator Hide (waterproof sealer for high traffic areas)
Painting the base of the farmhouse table and chairs:
- White Lightning Cleaner (wood cleaner to remove gunk
- Spray Bottle (for mixing water and white lightning cleaner)
- White Wax (Dixie Belle)
- Black Wax (Dixie Belle)
- Wax Brush
- Drift Wood (Dixie Belle chalk mineral Paint)
It’s important to understand that everyone’s finish will be different. No two finishes look the same. You are the artist! Be patient with yourself and go over each step of the video as you begin. I personally learn better from repetition and having a video to replay and review can be a very helpful tool.
